Vacuum: seats, carpet, floor mats, crevices. Wipe: dash, console, door panels with APC diluted per surface. Leather gets leather cleaner, not all-purpose. Last: protectant on vinyl. Never apply protectant before cleaning.

Interior glass last in the interior sequence
Interior glass after all other interior work — dust from the dash settles on glass. Two-pass method. Roll windows down 2 inches to clean the top edge.

Exterior — pre-rinse, two-bucket wash, clay
Pre-rinse removes loose dirt. Two-bucket method (one soap, one rinse — never dip the dirty mitt back in the soap bucket). Clay bar if paint feels rough under fingertips.

Wheels and tires — dedicated brush, tire dressing after washing
Wheel cleaner and dedicated wheel brush (never on paint). Tire dressing applied to tire only — overspray onto paint causes damage.

Final QC in direct light — photo the finished vehicle
Check for glass streaks, water spots, missed crevices, tire dressing overspray. Photo the finished vehicle — send it to the customer. It is both QC documentation and a retention tool.
